Preparation of the Feasibility Report for the Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Machinery and Manufacturing Organized Industrial Zone
The task involves the preparation of a feasibility report for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is planned to be established to treat industrial quality wastewater generated by industrial facilities operating in the Organized Industrial Zone. In this context, the wastewater flow rates and pollution loads that will occur in the OIZ have been determined; different treatment processes have been evaluated from technical, environmental, and economic perspectives. The capacity requirements of the treatment plant, process structure, sludge management options, investment, and operating costs have been analyzed to identify the most suitable treatment solution that can be implemented. The prepared feasibility report includes technical assessments regarding the plant's feasibility, financial projections, treatment performance forecasts, and investment planning.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our staff:
Determination of the amount of wastewater, flow variations, and pollution characterization that will occur depending on the sectors in the OSB,
Technical and economic comparison of suitable process technologies for wastewater treatment needs,
Establishment of design criteria and capacity calculations for the selected treatment process,
Preparation of the general process flow diagram for the main units of the facility (pre-treatment, chemical treatment, biological treatment, sludge treatment, etc.),
Technical and financial evaluation of sludge management alternatives,
Calculation of investment costs, operating expenses, and energy-chemical consumptions,
Preparation of financial feasibility analyses (return on investment periods, unit costs, etc.),
Evaluation of environmental impacts, feasibility conditions, and infrastructure requirements,
Preparation and submission of a feasibility report that includes all technical reviews and financial analyses to the employer.
