Istanbul Anatolian Side Organized Industrial Zone Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water Recovery Facility Feasibility Study
The project involves the preparation of a feasibility study to determine the need for a Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water Recovery Facility for the management of domestic and industrial wastewater generated by the industrial establishments operating in the Istanbul Anatolian Side Organized Industrial Zone (İASOIZ). Within the scope of the project, the current and projected future wastewater quantities and characterization of the OIZ have been evaluated; the technical and economic feasibility of the treatment and recovery facilities has been aimed to be demonstrated. The study includes the assessment of alternative technologies for wastewater treatment and water recovery, selection of the most suitable solution, creation of a conceptual design, and analysis of investment-operating costs. The prepared feasibility report serves as a basis for the planning of a sustainable, environmentally compliant, and economically viable wastewater treatment and water recovery infrastructure for İASOIZ.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our staff:
Determining the current and planned wastewater flow rates and pollution loads by examining the processes of industrial organizations operating within the OIZ.
Characterization of domestic and industrial wastewater and evaluation of the analysis results.
Identifying the capacity needs regarding wastewater treatment and water recovery facilities.
Evaluating the treatment and recovery alternatives from technical, environmental, and economic perspectives.
Determining treatment targets in accordance with sewer discharge standards and relevant legislation.
Selecting the most suitable wastewater treatment and water recovery technology.
Preparing a conceptual design for the selected technology; making process flow diagrams, layout plans, and basic dimensioning.
Identifying chemical consumptions and equipment needs related to the treatment and recovery system.
Calculating the investment costs (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX).
Evaluating the savings and financial benefits that will be achieved through water recovery.
Preparing a feasibility report that includes all technical and financial analyses and presenting it to the employer.
