Konya (KOSKİ) Ilgın Wastewater Treatment Plant Project Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Preparation Documents Preparation Project
The Ilgın Wastewater Treatment Plant Project, conducted by the Konya Water and Sewerage Administration (KOSKİ), was carried out to assess the environmental and social impacts. Within the scope of the project, potential effects on the environment, society, economy, and public health were examined in accordance with the planned activities of the Ilgın Wastewater Treatment Plant; an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Report was prepared within the framework of national legislation and international standards.
Within the scope of the project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
Collection and evaluation of existing environmental, ecological, and social data related to the project area,
Analysis of the environmental impacts of Ilgın Wastewater Treatment Plant (air, water, soil, noise, odor, etc.),
Conducting social impact assessment studies and stakeholder analyses,
Implementation of the EIA methodology in accordance with national regulations and international standards (World Bank, EBRD, etc.),
Preparation of impact mitigation, monitoring, and management plans,
Organization of public participation meetings and reporting of the outcomes,
Preparation of the Final Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report and submission to the administration.
