Preparation Project of the Yalova Altınova Shipyards Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant Feasibility Report
This involves the preparation of feasibility studies for the treatment of industrial and domestic wastewater generated by shipyards and auxiliary industry enterprises operating in the Yalova Altınova Shipyards Region in a common wastewater treatment plant. As part of the study, the existing and future production activities in the region will be analyzed to determine the wastewater flow rate and characterization; suitable capacity, process options, and design criteria for the common treatment plant will be established. Different treatment technologies will be evaluated from both technical and economic perspectives; preliminary treatment needs, chemical consumption, energy requirements, and operating conditions will be analyzed. Additionally, the site selection for the common facility, infrastructure requirements, investment costs, operating expenses, and financial feasibility will be assessed to demonstrate the viability of the treatment facility.
Within the scope of this project, the following services will be provided by our personnel:
Determination of the wastewater flow and pollution loads based on the existing and future production activities in the shipyards area,
Analysis of wastewater characterization and preliminary treatment requirements,
Conducting capacity determination studies for the joint wastewater treatment facility,
Technical and economic comparison of different treatment technologies,
Creation of process design criteria and conceptual process flow diagrams,
Site selection for the facility, evaluation of environmental impacts, and assessment of infrastructure requirements,
Calculation of investment costs, operating expenses, and economic feasibility,
Conducting financial analyses suitable for the joint facility model,
Preparation of the feasibility report and presentation to the employer.
