TÜPRAŞ Wastewater Modeling Training Service
This study covers the Wastewater Modeling Training service carried out for Turkey's Petroleum Refineries Inc. (TÜPRAŞ). The training has been organized to enhance the knowledge and competencies of the technical personnel working within the refinery regarding modeling approaches, process analysis, and operational optimization of wastewater treatment processes. The training program aims to introduce the mathematical and numerical modeling methods used in wastewater treatment facilities, interpret the model results, and integrate these results into operational decisions.
The following services have been provided by our personnel as part of this project:
Preparation of the wastewater modeling training content based on the needs of the technical personnel working within TÜPRAŞ,
Providing theoretical training on modeling approaches used in wastewater treatment plants (process-based, hydraulic, mass balance-based models, etc.),
Conducting technical presentations aimed at evaluating wastewater characterization, load changes, and process performance through modeling,
Practical explanations on how to use modeling results in operation, capacity planning, and process optimization,
Answering technical questions from participants during the training and sharing evaluations regarding problems encountered specifically in the refinery,
Preparation and provision of training documents, presentations, and necessary technical materials to participants,
Conducting a general assessment at the end of the training to summarize the participants' achievements.
