Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
The prior determination of the effects of large-scale projects on the environment and society is one of the fundamental requirements of sustainable development. Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) facilitates the analysis of potential environmental, social, and economic impacts that may occur in and around the project area, and the development of preventive and corrective measures for these impacts. This process also includes local community participation, stakeholder analyses, and social acceptance. ESIA reports, prepared in accordance with national legislation and international standards (IFC, EBRD, World Bank, etc.), are both a legal requirement and an important planning tool for investors within the framework of social responsibility.
