GOSB Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Project Feasibility Report, Preparation of Tender Documents and Consultancy Work
The project involves conducting technical, economic, and administrative studies for the establishment of a central wastewater treatment plant needed by the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GOSB). Within the scope of the study, the ‘build-operate-transfer’ and ‘turnkey fixed-price’ tender models have been technically evaluated; analyses of water consumption, wastewater characterization, and pre-treatment needs have been conducted based on up-to-date information collected from the OIZ participants. During the project process, alternative treatment technologies were examined, wastewater recovery opportunities were evaluated, design parameters for the plant were determined, and a feasibility report including all technical, economic, and environmental analyses was prepared. Additionally, technical documents to be used in the tender process were created; bids were received, evaluated from a technical and financial perspective, and consultancy support was provided to determine their compliance.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
Technical evaluation of “Build-Operate-Transfer” and “turnkey fixed-price” models,
Collection and analysis of data regarding water consumption and wastewater characterization from GOSB participants,
Identification of pre-treatment needs and formulation of facility design parameters,
Technical and economic comparison of alternative treatment technologies,
Evaluation of wastewater recovery options,
Calculation of investment and operating costs of the facility and conducting financial analysis,
Preparation of the feasibility report and presentation to the employer,
Preparation of tender technical documentation for the centralized treatment facility,
Technical and financial evaluation of incoming bids, rectification of non-conformities, and management of clarification processes,
Provision of consulting and technical support to the employer during the tender process.
