Preparation of Environmental and Social Documents for the Ceyhan Basin and Elbistan (Kahramanmaraş) within the scope of FRIT II
It has been carried out within the framework of the FRIT II (Facility for Refugees in Turkey) Program, financed by the European Union, and involves the preparation of environmental and social documents related to the Ceyhan Basin and Elbistan region. Within the scope of the study; an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and a Resettlement Plan (RP) have been prepared for the Elbistan Drinking Water Network and Afşin-Elbistan Drinking Water Supply Line Projects. Additionally, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Resettlement Plan documents have been developed for the Ceyhan Basin Wastewater Treatment Plant Project.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
· Evaluation of the current environmental and social conditions in the project areas,
· Conducting field visits and stakeholder engagement meetings,
· Preparation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for the Elbistan Drinking Water Network and Afşin-Elbistan Drinking Water Transmission Line Projects,
· Creation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report for the Ceyhan Basin Wastewater Treatment Plants Project,
· Preparation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for affected individuals and households,
· Implementation of methodologies compliant with international standards (World Bank, EBRD, EIB),
· Reduction of environmental impacts, determination of monitoring and management strategies,
· Reporting, data analysis, and preparation of technical documentation.
