Preparation of the Feasibility Report for the Use of Treated Wastewater from Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Urban Wastewater Treatment Plants in Irrigation.
This project encompasses the evaluation of the reuse potential of treated wastewater obtained from urban wastewater treatment plants operated by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility analyses aimed at using this water for irrigation purposes. Within the scope of the project, the quality of the effluent from existing treatment plants has been analyzed, agricultural irrigation needs have been assessed, and reuse scenarios suitable for water quality requirements have been developed. Additionally, alternative system solutions regarding transmission lines, storage structures, pump stations, and irrigation infrastructure have been examined from technical and economic perspectives.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
Examination of existing urban wastewater treatment plants and analysis of effluent water quality,
Identification of agricultural irrigation areas and calculation of water needs,
Development of alternative scenarios for the reuse of treated wastewater in irrigation,
Evaluation of necessary technical arrangements for the treatment process and transmission system,
Conducting feasibility calculations for storage, pumping station, and piping systems,
Comparison of the technical, economic, and environmental suitability of alternative systems,
Calculation of investment, operating, and maintenance costs
