Dilovası Organized Industrial Zone Wastewater Treatment Plant and Main Collector Lines Technical Support and Supervision Consultancy Service

Dilovası Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) is one of the areas in Turkey with the highest industrial density and the most environmentally polluted. Wastewater treatment was among the urgent issues awaiting solutions in terms of environmental management. The project was initiated under the "Planning of Environmental High-Cost Investments (EHCIP)" project funded by the European Union. The primary aim of the project is to significantly reduce the pollutant load in the sensitive Izmit Gulf, which is connected to the Sea of Marmara, in compliance with EU directives. The construction of the treatment plant has been financed by a Public-Private Partnership model specifically developed for OIZs, known as Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT). io provided technical support and supervisory services during the construction process. Treatment Capacity: 20,000 m³/day
