Preparation of Conceptual Design for Bursa Leather Specialized and Mixed Organized Industrial Zone
The conceptual design studies aim to determine the capacity, process flow, and basic components of the wastewater treatment plant planned to be established in the Bursa Leather Specialized and Mixed Organized Industrial Zone. Within the scope of the project, the amounts and pollution loads of wastewater that will be generated by the leather processing facilities and other industrial organizations within the OIZ will be evaluated; process options suitable for treatment targets will be analyzed from both technical and economic perspectives. In this regard, design criteria for the treatment plant, process flow diagrams, capacity requirements, unit arrangements, and conceptual design related to the plant layout will be developed.
Within the scope of this project, the following services will be provided by our staff:
Evaluation of wastewater flows and pollution parameters arising from existing and future industrial activities within the organized industrial zone,
Determination of the need for treatment based on wastewater characterization,
Technical-economic comparison of applicable treatment processes,
Development of design criteria for the selected process,
Conceptual arrangement of treatment facility units (pre-treatment, chemical treatment, biological treatment, sludge management, etc.),
Preparation of the process flow diagram and determination of basic hydraulic capacities,
Pre-assessments for the facility layout plan,
General identification of equipment and infrastructure needs,
Preparation of the conceptual design report and submission to the employer.
