Determining the Most Suitable Configuration for the Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant of ASO 2-3 and Anatolian Organized Industrial Zones and Preparing the Technical Specification
The project aims to determine the most suitable existing technology for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater for the ASO 2-3 Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) and the Anadolu OIZ. Within the project, a feasibility report for the Common Wastewater Treatment Plant (CETP) has been prepared, and technical consulting services for the tender process have been provided. The ASO 2-3 OIZ has industrial activity in 20% of its total industrial area, while the Anadolu OIZ has industrial activity in 5%. The main industrial sectors in both OIZs are metal production and machinery manufacturing. Active and under-construction facilities have been examined for wastewater characterization and flow calculations; design criteria have been determined in line with future scenarios created based on the planned factories. Discharge standards to the OIZ channel have been determined to be compatible with these design criteria. In the subsequent stages of the project, process alternatives that provide flexibility against different scenarios and stability against increases in flow and pollution load have been compared from technical and financial perspectives. A conceptual design and layout plan have been prepared for the most suitable process alternative. Capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) costs have been calculated for a treatment plant with a capacity of 3,000 m³ per day, and alternative financing methods have been evaluated. Additionally, technical specifications for the Common Wastewater Treatment Plant have been prepared within the project, and technical consulting services for the tender process have been provided.
