The feasibility report, improvement report, preliminary projects, and environmental impact assessment report for the 2nd stage solid waste landfill facility.
The project is aimed at increasing the capacity and modernization of the existing Solid Waste Regular Landfill Facility, which serves to dispose of the waste from the industries and enterprises in the region, with a population of 230,000 associated with TİÇHİB. Within the scope of the project, a feasibility report and preliminary designs have been prepared for the Phase 2 Solid Waste Regular Landfill Facility planned on an area of 10.4 hectares; an improvement plan has been developed for the existing facility. During the project process, waste projections have been made, and waste characterization has been determined through field studies, with various disposal technologies evaluated from a technical and economic perspective. Investment and operational scenarios for the future have been developed; conceptual designs and preliminary projects for the Regular Landfill Facility, Compost Facility, Leachate Treatment Plant, and Transfer Station have been created. Financial analyses based on all designs have been conducted, and the relevant Environmental Impact Assessment Report has been prepared.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
Preparation of waste projections and determination of long-term waste quantities,
Conducting field studies and analyzing waste characterization,
Preparation of an improvement plan for the existing Solid Waste Landfill Facility,
Conducting feasibility studies for the 2nd Stage Landfill Facility and preparing preliminary projects,
Creation of conceptual designs for Landfill, Composting, Leachate Treatment, and Transfer Station units,
Comparison of disposal and recovery technologies and determining the most suitable system alternative,
Conducting investment, operation, and maintenance cost analyses,
Preparation of the necessary Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report within the scope of the project,
Preparation and submission of technical reports, drawings, and documentation to the employer.
