Research and Development Project for Establishing Minimum Standards for Public Return Points/Centers and Verification Facilities, and Identifying the Number and Capacities on a National, Regional, and Local Scale, as well as Investment and Operating Needs.
The national deposit return system aims to be established effectively, sustainably, and widely, and encompasses the determination of technical, administrative, and operational standards for public return points/centers and verification facilities. Within the scope of this work, the number and capacities of the facilities that will ensure the system's applicability at national, regional, and local levels have been determined; investment and operational needs have been analyzed. The project aims to evaluate the placement, operation, equipment requirements, technological infrastructure, and logistics relationships of return centers and verification facilities in light of scientific data; as well as to create investment planning and operational strategies.
The following services have been provided by our personnel within the scope of this project:
Conducting current situation and needs analyses for public return points, return centers, and verification facilities within the national deposit system,
Carrying out modeling and optimization studies regarding the number, capacity, and geographical distributions of the facilities,
Determining the minimum technical and operational standards of the facilities (infrastructure, equipment, software, personnel, energy, security, etc.),
Analyzing investment and operational costs, preparing financing and sustainability scenarios,
Conducting regional scale feasibility analyses and developing logistics planning,
Identifying technological infrastructure needs (automation, monitoring, data transfer, etc.),
Developing implementable strategies at the national, regional, and local levels,
Reporting, data analyses, and presenting results to the employer.
