Preparation Project of Water Allocation Plans for the Küçük Menderes and Gediz Basins
Determining the surface and groundwater potential at the basin and sub-basin scale in the Küçük Menderes and Gediz Basins, identifying the current state and future water needs of each sector, and preparing water allocation plans and action plans to fairly meet the water needs of each sector.
Description of the actual services provided by your personnel within the scope of the task:
• General information about the basin, population analysis, physical characteristics, socio-economic characteristics, climate features, hydrogeology, surface and groundwater potential, water usage from surface water and groundwater, water quality studies for surface and groundwater
• Drought analysis for surface water and groundwater, drinking water sector, environmental flow, agricultural sector, industrial sector, energy sector, fisheries and aquaculture, other sectors (tourism, mining, etc.), forecasts for these sectors in the coming years, economic analysis, evaluation and prioritization of sectors
• Water allocation modeling, determination of optimal water conditions, creation of allocation scenarios
• Allocation Action Plans and Allocation Maps
