Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI) Preparation of Feasibility Reports for Wastewater Treatment Plants to be Constructed in Different Basins
As part of this project, detailed feasibility studies have been conducted for various wastewater treatment facilities located in different basins of Istanbul. The reports prepared during the feasibility studies focus on the project's definition and scope, the location and characteristics of the wastewater collection basin, site selection for the treatment facility, preliminary environmental impact assessment, physical, geographical, economic, social and environmental features, conceptual design, and the selection of the most suitable technical solution alternative, estimation of investment costs, and financial analysis of the project. In addition to technical solutions, the project's financing sources have been analyzed in detail; corporate structure and capacity have been evaluated, project management system and implementation plans have been developed. Treatment Facility Capacities: • Ambarlı WWTP: 1,000,000 m³/day • Yenikapı WWTP: 1,350,000 m³/day • Kadıköy WWTP: 1,000,000 m³/day • Büyükçekmece WWTP: 396,500 m³/day • Silivri WWTP: 98,500 m³/day • Çanta WWTP: 156,250 m³/day • Baltalimanı WWTP: 533,000 m³/day • Kilyos WWTP: 30,000 m³/day • Paşabahçe WWTP: 300,000 m³/day
Description of the services provided by your personnel within the scope of the task:
• Evaluation of the physical, geographical, economic and social characteristics of the project drainage area and analysis of its environmental impacts,
• Evaluation of alternative site selections for the facility,
• Presentation of the legal framework covering national and international environmental legislation as well as regional and sectoral policies and strategies,
• Technical and environmental evaluation of wastewater treatment alternatives,
• Selection of the most suitable treatment alternative and preparation of its conceptual design,
• Calculation of the project's capital investment (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) costs in accordance with the conceptual design,
• Conducting detailed financial analyses,
• Preparation of the project implementation plan.
