Preparation of Environmental and Social Documents Project for Kahramanmaraş and Akşehir (Konya) under the FRIT II Scope
The FRIT II (Facility for Refugees in Turkey) Program, funded by the European Union, includes the preparation of environmental and social documentation for the Kahramanmaraş and Akşehir regions in accordance with World Bank standards. Within the project scope; Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for the Akşehir Drinking Water Supply Project, Environmental and Social Management Plan and Retrospective Social Audit Report for the Kahramanmaraş Drinking Water, Sewerage, and Storm Water Project have been prepared. Additionally, an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Resettlement Plan (RP), and Retrospective Social Audit Report have been completed for the Kahramanmaraş Northern District Integrated Solid Waste Facility Project.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
· Determination of the current environmental and social situation regarding the project areas and data analysis,
· Preparation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for the Akşehir Drinking Water Supply Project,
· Preparation of the ESMP and Retrospective Social Audit Report for the Kahramanmaraş Drinking Water, Sewerage, and Stormwater Project,
· Preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Resettlement Plan (RP), and Retrospective Social Audit Report for the Kahramanmaraş Northern Districts Integrated Solid Waste Facility Project,
· Field investigations, data collection, identification of affected stakeholders and organization of participation meetings,
· Implementation of methodologies compliant with World Bank Environmental and Social Standards (ESS),
· Assessment of environmental impacts, analysis of social risks, and development of management plans,
Preparation of final reports, review, and submission to the administration.
