Bodrum Municipality Water Project Institutional Development and Municipal Support Program
The project consists of financial components that include the credit of 7.5 million Euros provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the rehabilitation and expansion of the water network of Bodrum Municipality and to enhance service quality, along with technical cooperation that will support the financial and operational management of the municipality and BOSKİ (Bodrum Water and Sewerage Administration) in the implementation of the project. The project is composed of the following three sections: • Section I: Support for BOSKİ in the preparation of a Business Plan (including support for the Financial and Operational Performance Improvement Program, Institutional Development Program, and Public-Private Partnership Program invitation), • Section II: Municipal Support Program for Bodrum Municipality, • Section III: Stakeholder Engagement Program.
Description of services provided by your staff within the scope of the assignment:
• Preparation of the Financial and Operational Performance Improvement Program (FOPIP),
• Improvement of the Environmental Management System and conducting analysis of environmental and health impacts,
• Preparation of an action plan to increase operational efficiency, including performance indicators for network management (water losses, energy consumption), comparisons with other water utilities, and evaluating necessary actions to reach target conditions,
• Analysis of the asset inventory and preparation of long-term investment plans,
• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
• Staff training under the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP).
