Berdan Drinking Water Treatment Plant Disinfection Unit Operation Service Procurement
The study and project work regarding the increase of the current capacity of the Berdan Drinking Water Treatment Plant, located within the borders of Mersin province, and the improvement of the facility's disinfection unit. During the work process, the technical condition of the existing facility was analyzed in detail; alternative disinfection methods that would enhance the system's performance were evaluated from technical, environmental, economic, and financial perspectives. As a result of the analyses, the most suitable alternative disinfection system was identified; construction, mechanical, and electrical projects related to the selected system were prepared. Additionally, within the scope of the project, exploratory, measurement, and technical documents essential for implementation were prepared to establish infrastructure for the modernization of the facility.
Within the scope of this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
On-site examination of the current status of the Berdan Drinking Water Treatment Plant and performance analysis of the existing disinfection process,
Studies and assessments to address the need for capacity increase of the facility,
Comparison of different disinfection technologies (chlorination, UV, ozone, etc.) in terms of technical, economic, and environmental criteria,
Determination of the most suitable disinfection system alternative and design of the system,
Preparation of construction, mechanical, and electrical application projects for the selected system,
Preparation of exploration, measurements, cost analyses, and essential documents for implementation,
Preparation of the final report and presentation to the employer.
