Purchase tender for analysis of water usage and climate change in the Chemical, Metallic and Non-Metallic Minerals sectors.
The project, carried out by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMIB), encompasses the "Project for Supporting Climate Change Resilience and Adaptation by Preventing Water Loss (TR2017 ESOP MI A3 04 / CCAGP / 342)". It involves analyzing the current state of water usage in the chemical and metallic and non-metallic minerals sectors, future water usage projections, and the effects of climate change on these sectors. It includes conducting surveys on water usage in companies operating in these sectors in the Marmara Region, assessing companies' water efficiency and climate change adaptation levels, identifying sectoral vulnerabilities, and developing feasible solution proposals.
In this project, the following services have been provided by our personnel:
Conducting assessments of the water usage situation of companies operating in the sectors of chemical and metallic and non-metallic minerals; collecting information on water consumption, water efficiency, and water footprint in production processes.
Analyzing sectoral water usage practices through surveys conducted with companies and field inspections; evaluating the impacts of climate change on water supply, process water, and production processes.
Creating future projections regarding sectoral water demand; modeling the potential effects of climate change on these projections and conducting scenario-based evaluations.
Evaluating sector-level sample applications for water efficiency, reuse, and improvement practices; conducting analyses regarding companies' awareness levels concerning water management.
Ensuring regular coordination with the contracting authority, timely preparation of report drafts, updating documents based on revision requests, and presenting all outputs for final approval.
Carrying out all technical studies related to the project's methodology; actively contributing to data analysis, report writing, sectoral evaluations, and recommendation development processes.
