The overall aim of the project is to provide engineering services for the "Submission of IPA II Application File by Revising Çarşamba Wastewater Project IPA Application File in Accordance with EU Standards and Preparation of Service and Works Tender Dossiers” Project behalf of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate (SASKİ), the Client.

Under the scope of this project, conceptual design of the “Çarşamba Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Collector Lines” has been performed for determined design flowrates and IPA II application file and related Service and Works Tender Dossiers has been prepared .

Such tasks have been achieved within this project:

• Wastewater generations in Çarşamba District have been estimated and hydraulic capacities have been determined based on minimum and maximum design flowrates,
• Process design of the Çarşamba WWTP units and design for the collector lines have been performed for determined hydraulic capacities,
• Conceptual design drawings for the WWTP and wastewater collection system have been made,
• Hydraulic calculations have been performed to specify the proposed plant hydraulics,
• Capacities for the electromechanical equipment has been selected,
• Electromechanical equipment list have been prepared and capital & operational cost have been calculated,
• Financial and economic evaluations have been made,
• Feasibility Report for the Çarşamba WWTP and Collector Lines has been prepared,
• IPA II Application File for “Çarşamba Wastewater Project” has been prepared in accordance with the EU Standards,
• Service and Works Tender Dossier based on PRAG 2018 have been prepared.
